(i) A delightful thatch house with two huge bedrooms, a bunkroom, shower and bath, fully fitted kitchen, dining room and enormous comfortable lounge with fireplace and TV. There is accommodation to sleep 14 people. Adjacent to the house is a small cottage with two bedrooms sharing a toilet/shower.

(ii) The main farmhouse with four bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, two bathroom/toilets, dining room with jetmaster fireplace, and a huge comfortable lounge with TV. The house sleeps eight comfortably plus four on sleeper couches in the lounge.

(iii) The new cottage has two bedrooms both en-suite with showers, a fully fitted kitchen and an open plan dining room/lounge, with a porch overlooking the valley.

(iv) Two adjoining two-bed roomed cottages with on-suite showers, open plan dining room/lounge and a wide porch. Here you can relax with family whilst braaing and enjoying the exquisite landscape or sunsets.

All accommodation is on a self-catering basis and all kitchens have fridge/freezers, microwaves, stoves/ovens, toasters and kettles. Braais are available at all the houses.

We cater especially for families with young energetic children and their friends, as Elvesida Holiday farm is a child’s paradise. Activities on the farm include Welsh ponies for the children to ride, milking the cows every morning, feeding the farmyard animals, bass fishing, canoeing or swimming in the farm dam, tube riding down the river (summer only) and riding mountain bikes, Quad's or off -road bikes around the farm and surrounding areas. Tractor rides around the farm can also be arranged for guests. For the less energetic just relax with your favourite book or wander along the paths that meander around the farm.

An animal petting farm especially for the young ones has been completed and they are now able to mingle and feed the rabbits, miniature goats, lambs, chickens, piglets and waterfowl all in their natural environment.

Elvesida Holiday Farm offers a relaxed affordable getaway for all ages, where parents can relax whilst the youngsters expend their energy in a safe and exciting environment.

LOCALITY - Take the Southern Drakensberg/Howick South turnoff from the N3 (Exit 99) and proceed towards Bulwer/Underberg on the R617. Approximately 20minutes from the turnoff is the village of Boston. On your right you will pass the Boston Police Station and then drive down a hill with speed bumps. At the bottom of this hill is a Caltex Garage. Go past the garage and over the Elands River and take the first turning right (signposted – Everglades Hotel). Proceed up this gravel road for 2.5Km and turn right into Elvesida Farm.
